Question by Ashlee: Actually interesting ideas for hobbies to get my younger cousin into?

My cousin called me and desperately asked for me to help her out with her daughter. 14 yr old maybe troubled with an identity crisis, but out of her mind nonetheless. I need to step in as a family member and help, but I need some good ideas to get her interested in some different hobbies and keep her busy. I think every teen gets tired of the same old movies, bowling..activities. I need new age fun here. I really want to help. Thank you so much for any suggestions!

Most 14 year olds like chatting to friends online.Reading,craft,sport of some kind.What about taking up photography?
